Stoke makes it easy for companies to monitor remote industrial assets. We are looking for a Systems Engineering Intern with a strong background in embedded systems to join the Stoke team in San Jose. You will be involved in the IoT product development life-cycle from firmware development to assembling final product for customer deployments. We are looking for someone who can span the range of tasks from developing low-level code to hardware debug.
Role & Responsibilities
Work with multiple teams to resolve system-level issues
Design, develop, implement, test, and verify Stoke hardware devices and prepare them for customer deployments.
Provide feedback on architecture, use cases, engineering design, tools, and documentation
Help to develop novel methods for system-level modeling and verification
Education Requirements
2nd Year + Student enrolled in BS Electrical or Computer Engineering Or enrolled in MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Knowledge of C/C++
Knowledge of scripting languages: TCL, Pearl, or Python
Knowledge of embedded systems
Excellent debugging skills
Solid understanding of board design and debug
Strong verbal and written communication
Duration: 3 months minimum
Hours: Part Time (20hr/wk minimum)
